Troy was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado, where he discovered his passion for golf early in life. He competed in the CJGA, AJGA, and numerous other junior golf tours across the United States, earning the number one varsity spot all four years at Chatfield High School.
After high school, Troy served honorably in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman, where he gained invaluable medical and leadership experience while stationed abroad in Italy for four years.
Following his military service, Troy passed the PGA Player Ability Test (PAT) and became a golf instructor at a premier casino and resort in San Diego, California. He later completed a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Master of Public Administration from the Rackham Graduate School at the University of Michigan.
For the past decade, he has worked for various federal agencies, applying his healthcare and administrative expertise to public service. Yet, his true passion remains rooted in golf—especially mentoring junior players and helping them develop the skills and confidence to achieve their dreams both on and off the course. - "Eagle vision." 🦅
